Cosmic Skating
Cosmic Skating offers cool fun from 8 to 10 p.m. March 23 and 30 at the Northbrook Sports Center with music, special effects and theatrical lighting. The program welcomes students in 6th grade or higher, and non-skaters can celebrate in the Club Cosmic room. The fee is $5 per youth, and skate rentals are available. ‘No Dogs Allowed’
The canine caper “No Dogs Allowed!” is the spring production from the Northbrook Musical Theatre for Young Audiences, opening on April 7 and running through May 19. The comic tale about a family road trip with a stowaway dog is based on an award-winning children’s book. Performances are at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturdays at the Northbrook Theatre. Tickets are on sale at the Box Office in the Leisure Center, online at northbrooktheatre.org, and by phone at (847) 291-2367. Tickets are $8 and $10, with group rates and party packages available. The audience can meet the cast after every performance.
